Founder, Apostrophe Consulting

Je’Nen helps AEC leaders elevate their teams and organizations through the research, design, and implementation of emerging practice management solutions. While practicing architecture, Je’Nen also attended business school, where she laid the groundwork for Apostrophe Consulting - blending her interests in design and business management. Since launching full-time in 2019, she’s successfully supported a growing list of companies across the United States.

In addition to consulting with firm leaders on practice management, Je'Nen helps her clients develop their business strategy and talent development programs and navigate industry change. She specializes in facilitating conversations that engage multi-generational teams and has designed, developed, and facilitated dozens of training programs that inspire next-gen leaders.

Je’Nen earned her MBA from Mills College (now part of Northeastern University) and BArch from UNC Charlotte. She has received several industry leadership awards, including the 2017 AIA Associates Award and Presidential Citations from AIA California & North Carolina. She has 15+ years of experience with the AIA, wrote the business plan for the AIA Leadership Institute 2015-2020 (+2K participants, 15 components), and served on the AIA national board of directors.

Megan partners with leaders to effectively advance their strategic initiatives by refining workplace practices that boost employee engagement and amplify external impact. She works with teams to facilitate continuous improvement through participatory conversations. She is the 2024 AIA North Carolina president and founded Lucy Hawk in 2022.

Jennifer designs conversations to support students, recent grads, and early career professionals as they transition into our industry. She founded Creative’s XP, a nationwide professional development platform that introduces collegiate architecture students and emerging professionals to traditional and nontraditional design careers.
